{ Problem }
The Food Service industry is in period of evolution and change. To stay competitive, companies must change their marketing strategy as well in order to stay in front of the competition. US Foodservice wanted to educate their customers that they were much more than a DSD (direct store delivery) provider. They wanted to re-position themselves in the eyes of their customers as a true “resource” and partner for all their business and operational needs.

{ Solution }
An integrated marketing campaign was developed to educate and inform their owner/operators. The “Go With Us Guest Check Program” repositioned US Foodservice by letting their owner/operators know that they were “Partners Beyond The Plate.” This was accomplished through a magazine campaign driven by an eco and earth friendly message, and by word-of-mouth. The campaign allowed US Foodservice the opportunity to get in front of their customers and let them know about all the additional services they can provide to them. This included their complete line of premium products.

{ Results }
The campaign and re-positioning of the brand was a success as the phone began, and continued to ring. The perception of US Foodservice owners/operators changed as well as they began to call US Foodservice with broader questions and challenges pertaining to their business needs.
